CRUZ Tequila: Prickly Pear Recipes

CRUZ CITRUS MARGARITA with Pêra Prickly Pear Cactus Fruit

2 oz CRUZ™ Silver Tequila
1/2 oz Pêra Prickly Pear Syrup or Nectar
1 lime squeezed
1/2 lemon squeezed
1/2 orange squeezed
1 oz agave nectar

In a cocktail shaker with ice, add CRUZ Tequila, prickly pear drink mixer, lime juice, lemon juice, orange juice and agave nectar. Shake vigorously and strain into a Margarita glass, with fresh ice.

This recipe is a rendition of the CRUZ Citrus Margarita found on the Cruz Tequila Website under Classic Drinks.  We simply added Pêra Prickly Pear Fruit.

CRUZ PRICKLY PEAR MARGARITA with Pêra Prickly Pear Cactus Fruit

2 oz CRUZ™ Silver Tequila
3/4 oz agave nectar
1  oz lime squeezed
1/2 oz Pêra Prickly Pear Syrup or Nectar

In a cocktail shaker with ice, add CRUZ Tequila, agave nectar, lime juice and prickly pear drink mixer. Shake, then add a splash of water and serve over ice.
